De Nobili Student Center Plans to Expand Boy’s Dormitory

The De Nobili Student Center is part of the Catholic Church’s commitment to improve the access to education of poor but deserving students. The Center currently houses 24 students from Grades 10-12 and provides them with lodgings, food, allowance and lessons support as they continue their study at the provincial capital of Sisophon.

Currently, the Center is in need of expanding as the current boy’s dormitory is small, has holes in the roof and floor, and floods during the rainy season. This is a big problem especially with the current flooding problem in the whole country. The new proposed building will better stand the elements and would allow more students to be accepted into the Center.  For more information, please refer to this powerpoint.
